'Blue Tiles'

A patchwork of blue and turquoise Middle Eastern ceramic tiles painted in watercolour. After visiting Leighton House museum, former home of Victorian artist Frederich Leighton I was inspired to create this painting featuring a patchwork of beautiful tiles from Syria and Turkey. Fascinated with the floral patterns and bird motifs I have recreated some of the original tiles and developed my own patterns to create this vibrant art print.
